A comprehensive guide to childbirth education led by a homebirth midwife Lauríel Rivera Stone. Part 2 included - in person &/or zoom live hands on workshop in Hartford CT also via zoom for those out of state. Date will be decided based on participants needs.

About the event
We’re excited to announce that the next Birthing Wisdom class has been scheduled as a two-part series designed to support families in feeling informed, confident, and prepared for birth.
Part One will take place Sunday, August 9 th from 10:00 AM–1:30 PM as a live Zoom class. This session will focus on education and understanding, including the physiology of birth, how to support a birthing person during labor, and the key decisions families are often asked to make around birth preferences. We’ll also cover immediate postpartum considerations for both mother and baby, helping participants feel grounded and informed before labor begins.
Following the Zoom class, participants will collectively choose a date that works best for everyone to gather for Part Two, an in-person & or online, hands-on workshop.
